GeoTrack

My Montage 9/20/09

So if you have no idea what you want to get your little boy for Christmas or a birthday coming up, I so recommend the GeoTrack airplane set. Gavin played with this thing for hours, it has a remote control that only has 2 buttons, so it's really easy for him to use.

Gavin's 2nd Birthday Party

Saturday was Gavin's 2nd Birthday and we gave him an airplane party. He loves airplanes, everytime we are outside and one flies over he stops what he is doing, points and says "plane" until he can not hear it anymore. We had lots of family and friends come over for his party. He was so excited and had such a great time.

2 year Pictures

I decided that I wanted Gavin to have some studio pictures taken of him for his second birthday. I love pictures of Gavin and you get plenty at Portrait Innovations. They really do a good job every time we go and you can't beat the price for as many pictures as you get.

Gi-Gi's 1st trip to the zoo

We took Gi-Gi to the zoo for the 1st time. We have lived in Asheboro for 4 years now and we have never taken my mom to the zoo. We finally 4 years and a child later took her to the zoo and she loved it and is ready to go back. Some of the animals were asleep, so she wants to go back to see them more active. But here are some pictures from our trip.

Cake Cutting

My sister-in-law, Christie is 17 weeks pregnant and went Tuesday to find out the sex of the baby. Well they had this really neat idea to not find out but have the doctor put what the sex of the baby was in a sealed envelope and take it directly to Your Perfect Cake in Greenville. They wanted the cake people to make the inside of the cake either pink or blue depending on what the sex was.
Well this Friday night we came home for the revealing of the sex of the baby. They had all of the family and several friends over at 7pm sharp. I believe everyone showed up early so exactly 7pm they cut into the cake. We all want a healthy baby but we really wanted a healthy baby boy. Christie and Jack have a little girl, our niece, Logan who is 7yrs old. So a little boy would let them have the perfect family and Jack, my brother-in-law, his little boy, who would be Jack Cole Mozingo, III.
They cut into the cake with the first swipe and they thought there would be a hint of what the baby was, but the knife was clean. So the second swipe and clean again. Well they put the knife under the slice to pull it out and it was BLUE, that's right, a baby BOY. There was a lot of yelling, a few happy tears and hugs for everyone.
