Blue box and Pearls...

It's never to early to get your first little blue box, with the famous name wrote across it...Tiffany and Co.  And it's never to early to get your first set of pearls, either:)
GiGi went to New York the weekend before you were born for Aunt Betty's birthday.  It was her first trip there so I couldn't tell her not go, even though you were scheduled to come Tuesday morning and the plane got in Sunday afternoon.  It made me a little nervous but you waited and she made it back in time with your first blue box that had your first set of pearls.  I must say...Reese looks beautiful in pearls, classic, elegant and chic!!
My stylish and spoiled little girl already!!

Homeward bound

It's been 2 nights and 3 days...it's time to go home!  I am beyond excited to get our little girl home...Introduce her to Freckles, our first baby girl, let her see her new home, room, crib and most important her MamaRoo!
We got our stuff all packed up from the hospital, got her dressed in her comfy coming home outfit and waited for that wheelchair to carry us out.  That is the best feeling ever...fresh air and sunlight:)
Here is her first car ride in her new car seat...she didn't make a peep, I think she was just as excited as we were to be going home:)

GiGi found this cute little dress flag that said "it's a girl" on it and of course dressed it up more with one of her famous bows.  She put it right by the walkway so everyone would know you were here:)

Brain Squeezer

GiGi and my Aunt Betty have made a pack to not let Reese wear any brain squeezers as they call them.  Brain squeezers are those cute little bands with a flower on it that goes around baby girl heads that have no hair, so that way they are not constantly mistaken for little boys.  All you moms that have bald head baby girls know what I'm taking about, you can have them covered from head to toe in pink, but they will still get called a boy:(
Some brain squeezers can get a little out of control...huge flowers that are as big as the precious little babies head or just lots of feathers and ridiculous looking! I have found Reese several that are very cute and practical looking, nothing over the top.  But I still get told they gotta go!!
Well here is her first of many brain Squeezer:)

She's a keeper!

Well it's official Gavin loves her already and has repeatedlly asked to hold her.  So we asked him if we could take her home...quickly he said "yep, she's a keeper"!!
He is so excited to be a BIG BROTHER!!

Homemade

Some little old lady handmade this little beanie with the sweetest flower on it for Reese at the hospital.  She noticed that we didn't have a little hat on her head and the next day she had brought this to the nursery for her...it was absolutely precious.

Daddy's Little Girl

She already has him wrapped and she hasn't even been here 24 hours.  This is the sweetest ever to see a man love and hold his child.  Jeremy has a tender heart and is completely consumed her:)

Complete...

Our little family of 3 is now complete with our newest addition to make us a family of 4.  We have our handsome little man who is 6 years old and now our precious little girl.
Our first family of 4 photo...IV still in, my fancy hospital gown and fresh baby. This was seriously taken 2 hours after my c-section!

She's here

Of course the morning that we go in for the c-section there is an snow/ice storm that came in that night.
We had to be at Wayne Memorial at 5:30am...there was at least 2inches of snow and an inch of ice on the roads.  Luckily we made it there in one piece, but we can't say the same for my doctor, he ended up in the ditch on the way to the hospital.  He was ok...it only slowed him down about 20 minutes.  He never skipped a beat, straight to the hospital and away we went into surgery.
By 7:30 we had a 6 pound 11 ounce, 20.5 inches long little girl named Reese Gentry Pearson in our arms, healthy as could be:)

Last Date...

We decided to get all dressed up and go out for a last date night...for a while anyway.
We love going out and we decided to splurge and go to the Country Squire. I really don't know what the big hype is about this joint.  You can't see, you eat by candle light, it takes forever to get your food and it's super expensive. And this prego mamma ain't got time for all that!!!!
But the picture of us heading out is priceless...Jeremy looks scared to death, like he just found out it was twins instead of just one little spoiled girl already!!
