Gavin for a week now has been asking for some fish, well let me re-phrase that, 3 fish!
So we told him that if he was a good boy at daycare all week we would go get him 3 fish.
This afternoon we took a trip to PetSmart and picked them out.
This was quite an ordeal, the fish lady would not let us pick out any cool fish! She informed us that we needed to have had our tank for 3 days, so that the water could be acclimated. WHATEVER!
LADY MY KID WANTS 3 FISH TODAY!! She obviously does not have children!
Well the end of the story goes.... We left with only 2 goldfish and Gavin's Gi-Gi had to go to Wal-Mart and get him another fish.
I am hate confrontation, so I just got the 2 fish and we left.
She also informed me that she could not guarantee my goldfish. They cost me .13 cents each so that is a grand total of .26 cents for both fish. I know, I know, I am a big spender!
But Gavin is very happy, NOW that he has his 3 fish!

My Carrot Patches
We are having everyone from Jeremy's side of the family come to our house for Easter.
So I thought I would be a little creative and try to make this carrot patches that I found in some magazine.
I think they turned out really cute! And they weren't that hard to make, just very tedious!
I put the bunny in the middle so it looked like he has watching over his carrot garden.
Whatcha think?!?

Easter Celebration at Church
This morning we went to an Easter Celebration at church!
It was very organized, they had different activities set up around the church. Each age group went to one area and when the group finished they went to the next station.
The first station was a story telling area, the teacher made the kids sit down and everyone got an egg. Each egg had something relating to the story of God. After she told the story about how He died and He rose out of the tomb, she explained that He was still alive in our hearts. Well Gavin stood up and raised his hands and yelled "He's Alive, Momma, He's Alive!" It was very sweet and the teacher was so happy about how excited Gavin was about the story.
The second station we painted flower pots! Gavin picked out many colors to paint his pot with!
The third station was outside, they had a three-legged race, an egg race and tug of war!
And last but not least was the egg hunt! Each kid had 10 eggs with their name on it and they had to find their name only. That took us a while, there was only about 30 kids which is 300 eggs everywhere!

Egg Coloring Time
Friday afternoon we went over to The Raynor's house and colored some eggs, 18 to be exact!
It held their attention for about 10 minutes, they enjoyed dipping the eggs into the colors and mixing up the colors, but Cori and I were left to finish decorating the eggs.
I think we had more fun than they did!

Easter Party at DayCare
Thursday at Gavin's "new red school" they had a Easter Party where the kids put on a show for the parents.
They sang several songs and did a couple of dances they had learned, it was very cute and educational!
All the parents were asked to bring something for the kids to eat, someone bought the traditional "PEEPS", they are not my favorite but Gavin seemed to enjoy the pink, sprinkle, marshmallow bunny!
And of course they had an egg hunt, which the teachers told the kids that the Easter Bunny actually came and put the eggs out. That is going to be hard to explain Sunday when the Easter Bunny comes that night to drop off his present and then has to come back after lunch to spread the eggs out for the family egg hunt!
That is one tired Easter Bunny is all I have to say!!!

MUD PIES
Sunday afternoon was so nice, so nice that Gavin thought it would be fun to play in the mud!
That's right, in the mud, with his new shorts and his Polo shirt!
Not only did he just run through it and jump up and down in it, he literaly plopped down right in the middle of it and started making MUD PIES.
He is all boy, that is for sure!

Opening Day and #3
Today, Saturday, April 2nd at 9am was Opening Day and Gavin's very 1st T-Ball game.
It was so cool to see Gavin get his name called out and run on the field in front of almost the entire town of Beulaville.
Of course everyone "AWWWed" at the sight of Gavin and how little he was.
He was mighty handsome in his little uniform.
He was so excited he told everyone "I'm number 3" as he tried to turn around and look his #3, literally turning around in circles.

Black and Yellow
Friday night we decided to make some cupcakes with GiGi for Opening Day of T-Ball.
We made cupcakes that looked like baseballs, how creative! I know we are talented!
Gavin loves to help mix the batter and especially crack the eggs, only my child, but he gets it from his father.
