BES...oh my!

I am a train wreck today...Kindergarten registration at BES, Beulaville Elementary School.
This has seriously tore my nerves up, Gavin on the other hand is over the moon excited. He could hardly sleep and was up bright and early due to all his excitement, I tossed and turned, thinking this is happening all too fast!!
Well it happened and he didn't want to leave...made me happy but so sad all at the same time.

Best part...

After every t-ball game, we line up, shake hands with the other team, tell them good game, then the best part...
We crowd home plate, everyone puts a hand in, Jeremy tell everyone how amazing they did in the game, then we count...1,2,3 and everyone yells LITTLE GIANTS!!

Get your game face on!!

Let's play ball...
It's the very first game of the season and I am getting my game face on!! It's time to do a little coaching, ok let me rephrase that, a whole lot of coaching!! We are talking about eleven 5 year olds and our wild man.
I am quite excited about our little team though, we are really good and I hate to brag but I know it's due to my amazing coaching skills!

My shirt says it all...

It's that time of year...time to break out the bats and balls!! We are coaching tball again this year and we have almost the same team as last year. We lost one and added 3 girls!
We are still the Little Giants and as everyone calls me still Gavin's Mom. But the shirt says it all...

Scissors...

When my child is suppose to be brushing his teeth in the bathroom, he decides to pull out Jeremy's trimmers and take a little off the top.
So much for rocking a Mohawk again for a while!!!

One cool dude!

Gavin has the biggest imagination ever, he is always a transformer, rocket, animal of some kind....
But today he has chosen to be a Rock Star, he wanted a Mohawk, with lots of gel!! He is one cool dude, my hands are full and I love every minute:-)

Easter Party Pinterest style!

So I try my hardest to be a crafty and of course the coolest mom. I want Gavin to remember that his mom always made the coolest things for his class.
I have Pinterest to thank for all my inspirations around all holidays. This website is an absolute life saver. I Love it, what would we or I be without it!!!
Gavin's Easter party at school required that I bring a snack. I, the coolest mom ever, couldn't just bring any old snack, I had to get a creative, well I had to do a little research, Pinterest style. And there my idea came, triangle shaped bags with Cheetos stuffed inside, to look like a carrot and green ribbon tied on the end. FABULOUS...if I say so myself!!! And I also made some bunny shaped cookies with sprinkles....NOT, I am so not that good, but Food Lion sure is!!

Empty eggs...

Mike's Farm puts on a big egg hunt the Saturday before Easter Sunday. We loaded the truck up with some friends and headed out there for a hot dog and chip lunch, it doesn't get much better than that! LOL
After our bellies were full we headed to the tractors for the hay ride back to fields full of eggs. They had the fields separated by age groups, so Gavin and Spencer got to tag team and collect all the eggs together. Of course the first egg Gavin grabbed he checked inside and nothing was in it. An empty egg, Gavin said, he got another egg and brought it to my attention again. Yes the eggs were empty because you get a bag of goodies when you return all your eggs back at the main part of the farm. Gavin still didn't understand why the eggs were empty, yes I have one spoiled child.
But when we got back, turned our eggs in, snagged our big bag of goodies, we also got a picture the big Easter bunny himself. I was waiting for Gavin to ask him why he put empty eggs out, but he didn't, thank goodness!!!

Through the tulips...

I do love fresh flowers in my kitchen! And tulips just happen to be one of my absolute favorites.
They are amazing just like what I see through them as the sit on my counter!

Who's having more fun?

One of our many traditions that we have started with Gavin...egg dying!!
Jeremy loves egg dying, but I really think it's because he gets to cook! I can't keep him out of the kitchen, I am a lucky woman;)
We made some very cool eggs if I say so myself!!

A whole lot of Family and a little Easter

Family Easter was at our house this year, the only thing was Jeremy had to work:( But the Easter bunny still showed up that morning before he headed out to work and left Gavin all kind of surprises.
Jeremy's side of the family came and filled our house full of love and food. We had everything you could think of to eat from ham to fried chicken and even cupcakes!
After we got our bellies full, of course the kids were begging to have the Easter egg hunt. We don't just have a few eggs to have we have over a hundred, crazy I know and a little spoiledness going on!!

Flavor of the month...

It's the end of March and Gavin has got him a new "girlfriend" as he already calls them.
He had an egg hunt at day school and was flirting away! Holding hands in line, trying to make last months girl jealous as you can tell from the picture. He already has them figured out!!!
