I don't think so

I have to go back to work in one week.  I am not looking forward to leaving my sweet girl.  I have become very attached, more so than her I believe.
Well from day 1 she has only nursed...so we are trying to get her to take a bottle.  I think I should've started trying a little sooner, but it's all good!  She's a smart little cookie she will figure it out...I hope!!
We have tried at least 5 different styles, this is the only one that she will at least play with.
Yes it looks like a boob...that's why it cost $60 for only one bottle.  What can I say, she has expensive taste and takes after her momma.  But after a little while Jeremy caught her staring at this thing...I can only imagine what her little brain is thinking...her face basically says it all though!!

Just too cute

I have to admit Jeremy and I have made a beautiful little girl.  She has these big bright blue eyes, squishy little checks and perfect little fat rolls everywhere.
Reese Gentry you are going to be a heart breaker one day with those eyes!!

ESPN and Daddy

Jeremy loves him some ESPN...me on the other hand not so much!
The funny thing is Reese loves sports, especially soccer and hockey.  I think because there is so much action on the tv screen. But I found her this little shirt to wear..."I watch ESPN with my Daddy", it's fits her to a T and Jeremy loves it when she wears it...he's a proud daddy:)

New shades and a selfie

My sunglasses finally broke...well Gavin assisted in them breaking, but that was ok, who doesn't like a new pair of shades:)
Of course I had to check myself out in them with a couple of selfies with the kiddos!!

So strong...

Reese is only 2 months old and his holding her head up so good.  She is so strong and determined to be a big girl too fast.  Time needs to slow down!!

Big Helper

Gavin is such a good big brother!
He always wants to hold her and love on her.  The best part is he is always trying to make her laugh and he suceeds.  She loves him just as much if not more.  She hangs onto his every word and watches him like a hawk.
In the mornings when I'm trying to get ready he will lay on her play mat and make all her little toys move.  She loves it and will giggle and laugh with him...it absolutely melts my heart:)

1st time to the water...

This is a sad but happy day for us...we have sold our very 1st boat!
We knew we would not take the boat out this year with Reese being so small and we barely took it out last year because I was pregnant.
Of course we have future plans for next year to buy a slighter bigger boat that we can all get on and go the island again as a family of four!
But we did take Reese down to the water and make a 1st for her this year in New Bern...that was our happy:)

2 Months Old

It's already been 2 months since Miss Reese Gentry came into our world.
As you can tell she loves to eat and has gained a good chunk of weight since she was born.  She absolutely loves her momma and will not have anything to do with anyone else, not even her GiGi.  She hates a bottle and will not even try to take one.  But she loves to smile and slobber...this is new for us, Gavin never slobbered!!

Tough stuff...

My new routine in the morning is to go walking, not only to try and get back in shape but also to get out of the house and get some socialization with my walking buddy!
But Miss Reese has other plans...this little girl does not like being outside one bit.  As soon as we step outside she goes to sneezing, squinting her eyes and burying her face in whatever she can.
I am doing my best to get her to like outside...this momma likes to go to the beach too much and her big brother has to be outside getting dirty.  I am pretty sure as she gets older he will have her converted to an outside, sun lover too:)
But for now this is what I get from her when I tell her it's time to go walking!!

Wore out...

It's tough being 2 months old...laying around on a play mat with lots of dangly toys can really wear a girl out.

Queen Bubble Blower

Reese has gotten where she will blow bubbles all the time.
She blows all kinds of bubbles...one big bubble, lots of little bubbles and then there is the three medium size bubbles.
She has got it mastered...we have crowned her the Queen of Bubbles!

Trampoline...

So for about 2 years we have been those neighbors that use our very loving and very sweet neighbors trampoline.  Their kids are 16 now and find it no fun to jump anymore.  But Gavin sure loves it...which tickles Mr Tony(our neighbor).  He loves Gavin coming over, which he has pushed the trampoline over to our side of the yard.
Well the other day we had a tough little storm blow through and dang on it...it blew the trampoline against the building, ripped the bottom and bent the poles all up.  We were all very sadden by this...Mr Tony maybe not so much.  Now he doesn't have to move it eveytime he cuts the grass.
The next weekend we made our way to the trampoline store and got a new.  We have one excited little man:)

Favorite Place...

I do love to eat...that's why I suck I diets! Good thing I'm nursing so I have an excuse to eat...all the time!
Buffalo Wild Wings is my all time favorite place to eat right now.  I have this thing for cheese curds and teriyaki boneless wings, of course with ranch!  I could go everyday for lunch and dinner and breakfast if they were open.
But I am turning both kids into wing lovers too!  You gotta love the cool hats:)

Family Egg Hunt...

It's tradition that every year we have a family Easter egg hunt.  All the kids have matching baskets or in our case tin buckets...that are of course monogrammed!
Next year we are going to have to get, well find Reese her one so she can hang with them.
We also did something a little different and used the school idea.  But instead of everyone's name being on them we gave everyone a color and like the big ones with designs on them be the special eggs that anyone could get.
Mandy and Brooks hid the eggs, which is the tradition for them, that's their thing.  But next year they will have their little one:)  Let the fun begin!!

Egg dying...

Every year we boil some eggs, dip them in some color and decorate them all up for Easter.  We never hide the real ones, we only put them in a bowl and sit them on the counter to look at...kinda boring, I know!!
Well this year we got a little high tech with the decorating part.  We bought a fancy egg dying kit that had rollers, so you could roll the paint on....feel free to be envious of this!!

Pinterest Easter...

One of my favorite things to do is get on Pinterest and find the coolest projects for all seasons and holidays for us to do as a family.  I always want to create these special memories so when Gavin and Reese think back they will remember and  let them turn into traditions!
This Easter I found a easy and fun way to make Rice Krispy treat eggs.  Something Gavin can do and get his fingers a little sticky.
He had an absolute blast helping me make these eggs.  The best part for him was opening the eggs and seeing them actually come out shaped like an egg.  He was so fascinated by it...and so was I, actually more impressed by my skills;)
They were a huge hit at our family Easter egg hunt and every last one got eaten!

Someone's happy

So not only is little Miss Reese a happy girl this morning but so is her momma:)
Last night she slept all night for the first time.  We laid her down at 9pm and she didn't wake up until 6am.  That was some needed beauty sleep for this momma and trust me I need all I can get these days:)

Daddy Time...

Reese loves to look at her daddy, just smile and blow bubbles...she takes in his every word.  She will just watch him and if he isn't looking, she will grunt and wiggle her little arms.  It is the funniest thing to watch her!
