Saturday we had Emma's 4th birthday party, this was no ordinary birthday party, she had a huge water slide, a slip-n-slide and a pool. These were all things that Gavin was not suppose to be near, but how can you tell him no. It looked like some much fun!! So what would any parent do, make it happen. That's right, we press and sealed his hand, not once but twice and then we put a zip lock bag over that with some tape. And off he went, there was nothing stopping him. The other kids asked questions, I mean it was a little over the top, but it worked and that's all that mattered. We just told them Gavin had a boo-boo and could not get his hand wet, and they were cool with that answer and off they went. Yes, Jeremy too is a kid a heart, so he joined in the fun and went down the slide countless times with Gavin.

I bet he had alot of fun! It looks like he did. I would have done the same thing to make sure my child could play like the other kids.
WOW what a party! And such great parents to go through all that so he could go!!
